Exported as 48 kHz · 16-bit · mono — 48 k because that's the codec rate, so
nothing resamples on the device; mono because both firmwares currently reject
anything else (kit.cpp: channels != 1). What you audition
is the mono the device plays, not the source.
Stereo sources are kept at full width on import and only folded down on the
way out, so when the Tab5's stereo codec is actually used nothing needs re-importing.
Row 0 is the system row — mute, ten volume levels, stop — and column 0 is the keyboard's modifier column. Neither can hold a sample: an undrawn pad that still triggered would be an invisible pad. 39 of 56 positions are playable.
